Inter-species Mating

Nekos, Elves, Fae, Men, and Demi-gods. What happens when you throw a box of crayons in a heated pot, stirring as you go? The color which emerges is not seen by many as beautiful. Perhaps this, too, may happen when one person mates himself to multiple species. Unable to find a foundation in one, he seeks the perfect mating of soul to body in another and another. Characteristics, emotions, and mind stir into a bubbling ghastly brown ocre. And maybe his beauty is lost in this indigestible conglomerate.

I live in Neko, elf, man, and demi-god. I shift like a shadow too long under the Sun's unforgiving glare. But, in the soul, my species is clear.

I am the dark angel. I beheld truth, unutterable, undeniable. Knowingly, questioning the fabric of my being, I turn from a destiny etched in my soul millenia before I became...real. It is the fallen angel for whom the word melancholy was crafted on the tongues of men. For what other wretched race of beings would willingly turn from Destiny, Truth, and Light, for no one but themselves. I see the faces, in Life and in Death, and long for the gentle ignorance shrouding their existence while burning with the knowledge forbidden to all others. How can they understand me...how dare they judge! I am the dark angel, standing on the wrong side of the looking glass.

Mmmm...creative juices

The pleasure of my Second Life waxes and wanes with the cycles of the moon (does that make me a lunatic??). Lately SL has been shining brightly in the night sky of my existence (which is good because there aren't a whole lot of stars around me lately). My most recent project is a building a new AV. Now, those of you with ingenuity, skill, and perserverance will say "wow, that's a lot of work"...but, hang on. Building a new AV, for me, is more about finding lots of really cool stores full of things I want to pick up, run my fingers over, squeeze, and slip in to (and the merchandise is really neat too!) That doesn't mean I miss out on the creativity and power of designing and building a new me, or, in this case, another me. But when it comes to ideas in reality, SL is full of amazing fantastic people whom I will always admire and will never be able to emulate.

Filling my head with ideas and imagery, I will seek out what pleases me and try to stay on budget. This is pretty easy since I don't actually put together numbers and limit my linden spending. Instead I base it on how guilty I feel about my latest purchase ^_^ And with a project like this...well, ok, any project...I just can't take it slow so I'm sure I'll be wearing a new skin and learning another personality soon! Tschuss! ~ Wil
